Are you Eligible for JEE Main 2020 Application?
Before you fill in the Application Form, make sure you are eligible to do so. NTA released the official notification announcing the NTA JEE Main 2020 Exam. It is important that you are eligible to apply for JEE Mains 2020. Check the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020 here. Remember, if you are not eligible, your application will be rejected.
- Passed Class 12th or equivalent examination.
- Qualify exam from a recognized Board/Institute.
- Qualify it either in 2018, 2019 or 2020.
- Score at least 50% in Class 12th.
- 50% aggregate in each subject is important too.
- There are no age limit criteria.
JEE Main 2020 Application Form
National Testing Agency provides an online portal to apply for JEE Mains 2020. Read the official notification of JEE Mains 2020. If eligible, apply for JEE Main Application Form 2020. National Testing Agency released the Online Form on 3rd September 2019. You can apply for the examination in online mode only. The candidate is required to Register himself to apply in the JEE Mains 2020.
In the official notification, complete details of JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern is available. The candidates who are appearing for the examination must check the details before appearing for the examinations. NTA will conduct the exam in online mode except for the drawing paper. The examination of Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be of 3 hours. The examination contains 90 questions in Paper 1 and 82 in Paper 2. For each correct answer, a candidate will score 4 marks and for each incorrect response, 1 mark will be subtracted from the total marks.
JEE Mains Syllabus

The Exam patterns help the candidate in preparing for the examination as well as to maintain their time management. The syllabus helps to complete this preparation. The candidates can download the JEE Mains Syllabus PDF from here and prepare for all the subjects and topics mentioned. The question papers would be based on the syllabus of 11th & 12th standard, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Syllabus.
The Admit Card will release for the candidates who will submit the application form in a correct manner. It is an authority letter that provides proof that the candidate is eligible to apply for the examination. The Admit Card mentions all the important details of the candidate and the examination itself. Candidates should download the JEE Main Admit Card for appearing in the examination. Without hall ticket, no candidate will get permission to appear in the examinations. Submit your login details on the Candidate’s Login Portal and Download the Admit Card.
JEE Main Exam Centers
The candidates have to appear in the examinations in JEE Main 2020 Exam Centers only. While filling the application form, the candidates can choose a maximum of 4 exam center- cities from 264 test cities in India and 9 abroad. JEE Main Exam Center availability is based on when the candidate applies for the examination. That is first come first serve basis. In case, the exam cities are not available for the candidate, then candidates must choose the exam centers as per their availability. The complete name and address of the allotted exam center will be available on the admit card of the candidates.
JEE Main Response Sheet
The Response Sheet is the OMR sheet of the candidate that candidate submitted during the examination. Exam appearing candidates would be able to visit the official website and then download the response sheet. Compare your answers and calculate your marks. You can predict the rank as well as marks using the Final answer keys. After the declaration of the result, candidates will get to know about the final marks.
National Testing Agency will release the Answer Key on its official website. After the exams are over, various academic institute releases their own Answer Keys which are unofficial. Later in a few days, NTA releases the Provisional JEE Main Answer Key on the official website. The candidates can submit their doubts. Then finally, NTA releases JEE Main Final Answer Key 2020. The candidates can check their answers and see to it if they have submitted correct answers or not.
Once the examination is all done with, the result will be released on the official website of NTA. The candidates can visit the official website of the National Testing Agency and download the Result. In the scorecard, candidates will find marks and qualifying, status. The candidate should bring this scorecard at the time of the counseling process.
JEE Main Counselling
Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts the counseling. Candidates who will clear the examination will participate in the counseling for admission in NITs, IITs, IIITs, CFITs, and others. The candidate aspiring for the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) must clear IIT Advanced to claim the seats.
